We came for dinner on Monday night, it was a quiet atmosphere not busy at all and probably for that reason I would expect a better service. I ordered a cocktail that was sitting on the counter for good 10 minutes by the time it got to me I felt like it was room temperature. Other than that it was very pleasant evening, food was great , the portions though lol they were sooo big I didn’t see my face but I did saw my husbands when they were putting the plates on the table ha ha I can’t even tell you how big the portions were, we took so much food home . I actually been wondering how does this restaurant make money serving portions that generously. Well I would recommend this place and I will be back myself as well . One other thing that I really thought was awesome is that they were playing Italian music and not just random radio , makes a whole different kind of experience . Thank you .

Despite the last-minute nature of our visit, they graciously accommodated us with a reservation. The dining experience exceeded our expectations; the food was nothing short of fantastic, offering a genuine taste of Italy that is hard to come by. Moreover, the wine pairing with their restaurant week menu selection was thoughtfully curated, enhancing the overall meal. This is my sisters favorite restaurant so we finally all went for her birthday this weekend. The food was delicious!! I had the chicken parm and it was a huge portion that I easily could have split with two other people. It came with a salad to start. The prices are great for the amount of food they give you, definitely worth it over going all the way in to the North End like we were originally going to. I would love to go back and try other dishes. They get busy so make sure you make a reservation!
The veal picatta is absolutely divine. Cooked perfectly. I also tried the homemade fettuccine with a pesto cream sauce. Amazing. So good. I love the way food is prepared at Calabria. The only complaint I have is the Italian bread. It takes gummy and without flavor.
The best Italian food in the Worcester area without the drive to the Noth End I. Boston or going to Rhode Island! This is hands down the BEST and the service is fabulous!!!!!!
I had read via the local Nextdoor platform that Calabria was a very good Restaurant and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was just right for a popular family friendly restaurant. Very busy for a Friday evening but I would definitely return to try other items on the menu. Very hearty portions!
First time, I went in for a beer and a sandwich. It wasn't very busy (a Monday at 11:30), which worked out great because I was able to talk to Cathy and Nikki and ask questions. Both were very nice and very helpful. The lunch menu is perfect, with plenty of items at reasonable prices. The dinner menu has 2 times the items. I ordered an Italian sandwich w ffs, and it was great. I have to go back because there were so many things I wanted to try. If you haven't been, go. Great food and great service. And the restaurant is clean and beautiful 😍.
Made reservation on a Friday and we were seated imediately. Server and busser were friendly and accomodating. The Lobster ravioli was amazing, no skimping on the lobster and the sause was something I made at home because I couldnt stop thinking of it. Husband got the boston fish, it had some crumbs that made it somewhat dry but he added tarter sause and loved it. Our son loved his broiled salmon, I gave it a try it was nicely browned and cooked perfectly. We had some drinks, my exspresso martini was perfect! Serves was fast, everyone nice and the vibe was comfortable.
We had a wonderful experience here! The portions are very generous and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We tried fried calamari, shrimp cocktail, and their fresh made pasta was absolutely delicious. We finished with a blueberry lemon cake that was the perfect ending. Highly recommend!
All our dishes were delicious and portions were ample. Specialty drinks were tasty. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Seafood casserole and Alfredo were recommended by my guests. Service was outstanding, thanks Missie. Parking was a little bit of a challenge on a busy Mothers Day.
